Ingredients
  

For the tea

  • ¾ cup water Heated with lemonade
  • ¾ cup lemonade Homemade or store-bought
  • 1 bag minty green tea Brands like Bigelow or Tazo recommended
  • 1 bag peach herbal tea Any brand will do
  • 1 teaspoon honey Adjust to taste
  • 1 slice lemon Optional garnish
  • 1 sprig fresh mint Optional garnish

Preparation

  • Start by heating the 3/4 cup of water and 3/4 cup of lemonade in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming hot but not boiling.
  • Place the minty green tea bag and peach herbal tea bag into your favorite mug.
  • Once the mixture is hot, pour it carefully over the tea bags in your mug.
  • Allow the tea to steep for 3 to 5 minutes; a good starting point is 4 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the tea bags and stir in 1 teaspoon of honey, adjusting to taste.
  • Garnish your warm tea with a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh mint.

Notes

For a caffeine-free version, use decaf mint tea. For an extra kick, try ginger ale instead of lemonade or add cinnamon for a warm, spiced twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
