  • 1 box (15-count) mini phyllo shells Found in the frozen or refrigerated aisle.
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Full-fat is recommended for best flavor and texture.
  • ¼ cup red pepper jelly Choose according to heat tolerance.
  • to taste Fresh thyme leaves or chopped green onion Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Arrange the phyllo shells on a baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  • Fill each shell with about 1 teaspoon of softened cream cheese.
  • Top each with about 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper jelly.

Baking

  • Bake for 5–7 minutes or until the shells are crisp and the cream cheese is warmed.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh thyme or green onion, if using.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For the crispiest shells, assemble right before baking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat at 300°F for 3–5 minutes to revive crispness.
