Ingredients

Cheese Ball Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled bacon (cooked and cooled)
  • ¼ cup chopped jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Crackers for serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use a spatula or a hand mixer at low speed to mix everything together until well combined.
  • Once everything is mixed, shape the mixture into a football. Use your hands to form a football shape, pinching the ends to give it the classic shape.
  • Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap to maintain its shape and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • After chilling, remove it from the plastic wrap and place it on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley or chopped pecans/walnuts.
  • Serve with a variety of crackers for dipping.
