  • 200 ml cold filtered water Use fresh, cold filtered water.
  • 1 teaspoon beetroot powder For a vibrant color and earthy flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice Adds zest and brightness.
  • ¼ teaspoon Persian blue salt For a unique twist.
  • ½ teaspoon honey Optional for sweetness; adjust to taste.

Optional Enhancements

Preparation

  • Pour 200 ml of cold filtered water into a glass.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of beetroot powder and stir vigorously until well dissolved.
  • Squeeze in 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and stir to combine.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon of Persian blue salt and mix until fully dissolved.
  • Taste the mixture and add 1/2 teaspoon of honey for sweetness, stirring well.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes or serve over ice.

Notes

For using fresh beets, roast or boil them until tender, blend, and strain for a smooth texture. Feel free to infuse with mint, ginger, or other flavors. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
