Ingredients
  

For the sandwich

  • 2 pieces Croissants
  • 1 medium Apple, thinly sliced Honeycrisp, Fuji, Braeburn, or Pink Lady are excellent choices.
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • optional Fresh Arugula Adds a peppery bite and fresh color.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  • In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Spread the goat cheese mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.
  • Layer the apple slices on top of the goat cheese.
  • Add fresh arugula if desired.
  • Top with the other half of the croissant.

Cooking

  • Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for about 5–7 minutes.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use good-quality croissants and serve immediately for the best texture contrast. Store components separately for best results.
