  • 6 large hard-boiled eggs Use large eggs for consistent filling volume.
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise Full-fat mayonnaise provides the creamiest texture.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Adds tang and depth; can be replaced with whole-grain mustard.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Chives or parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 270°F (130°C).
  • Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and gently remove the yolks.
  • In a bowl, mash the yolks and mix in the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Scoop or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.

Air Frying

  • Place the filled eggs in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for about 5 minutes until warmed.

Serving

  • Remove and sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chives or parsley before serving.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For best results, store components separately and fill just before serving. Avoid freezing as texture may decline.
